Fishing was a big part of growing up in Southeast Louisiana and many of my giant lure sculptures are remenscient of the classic wooden plugs I grew up using. Others are more modern lures that I now fish with or lures which have some quality that I admire.

I sculpt my lures individually from native cypress .Most are 18-30 inches long with the largest being 42 inches. Each lure is carfully balanced to hang from a single point and turn easily in the slightest breeze. They are very realistic and the hooks are real.

A customer once described my lures as art that makes you laugh. Others see a giant lure and remember time spent fishing with his dad or grandad.

My sculptures are carried in several top galleries across the US and have been featured in both FineWoodWorking and Craft Magazine. see reviews .
